Hello all,
I just relocated from the bay area to the central coast California. Can anybody recommend a 914 savvy mechanic in the San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara area? Thanks! |

Schneider’s on De La Vina in Santa Barbara is hands down the Porsche shop in the area. Joe Schneider is retired now and doesn’t wrench anymore. He’s an ex NASA engineer and the shop reflects that capability.
I take my 914-6 there and have for over 25 years. The SB Porsche dealer will not touch older Porsches and have no one knowledgeable about the older air cooled models. |
