This one has a 3.6 transplant. This one has been posted before, but appears the price has been lowered this time around.

Cheeky ad, requires 'substantial collateral' before you can test drive it. Rough neighborhood I guess.

Overall how would you compare this 74 with the 3.6 with the white 74 that just sold on BAT for $40,000.00 with a 3.2 or the black 76 on Ebay (Item #133357301951) with a 3.2L which is climbing quick on bids?

I think the 3.2 had a 914 trans. This one has a WEVO 915 trans. So about 10K more for the trans and 8K for the engine right off the bat.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) .....if the 3.6 drivetrain checked out to be in in good condition, its probably as cheap as one could get into a solid 6 conversion!

This is a total solid conversion 6, I know and trust the mechanic, I saw this car in his shop when I purchased mine he did the PPI and when I said that I needed a front oil cooler
he said OK and I said that I was going to track it at Willow he said oh, we need to give you a big one... he is a racing mechanic and ONE of the few 914 specialist in the bay area, he also races, so HE KNOWS HIS SHIT!
$48k is worth it fore a 3.6l

This is mine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Happy to answer any other questions, shoot me a PM. And the test drive comment in the ad is because of some of the terrifying drives I've been on in the past few weeks with 'serious buyers'. I'd rather not lose my car before it's bought!
