Discontinued from the Mfr. other reseller sources seemed to have dried up. Time to find a new after market fog light.

Guess I'd better go easy on my Pilots...I guess one option is @Spoke and his LED guts for the stock fixture....

Looking at the Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eyes Driving Lights, they have an LED ring and an H4 bulb. Price is right - $65 or less for the kit.
http://www.myhellalights.com/index.php/pro...l-eye-lamp-kit/ 4" diameter, but they are 3.5" deep, so need to measure. Bracket would require some fab to fit. Interesting - not great reviews on Amazon but that's not always an accurate indicator for me. Angel eye wired into parking light circuit and main light into the fog circuit and it could be good. One review I saw said to replace the H4 with an LED and it really helps. Bracket and depth may be an issue but I'm not close to my 914 in order to check.

I love my Pilots but here's the thread on @Spoke and his LED solution: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...p;#entry2800167 I would be interested in making LED foglights for the Pilots but I don't know anything about the fixtures. Can the fixtures be opened up? Are they about the same size as the 914 foglight fixtures? @FlacaProductions |

Yes IIRC just a clamp on the housings lend themselves to "rebuilding"
As for the Angel Eyes that 3.5" depth is gonna make it tough the stock depth of the housing is important to fit the apron/bumper. A lot of the aftermarket lights have the mount off the back instead of the edge |

There is just a clamp around the housing that holds the lens to the body - the interesting part is that the lens is clear - focused only by the reflector.
