You think this 73 has a door gap issue?
Off the road since 1987. A 1.7, but has sway bars, fogs, a good rear bumper and some other smaller items. And yes we used a loader to get it on the trailer. I will update the vin database also. Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) I'm not even sure I'd take it for free. There is no free unless someone paid for your time, gas, etc.
There is always a crazy guy in the neighborhood that all the other neighbors talk about. If you don't think there is a crazy one. . . . then it's its most cetrinly you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) That is dedication to the cause. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) |

Hope you got it for free ? Just unbolt the needed parts and drive it to the scrapper. Money not spent en money saved too. So if you get some good parts off that car, it still might be worth something (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I thought the door had to be closed to check the gaps. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

A little copper flashing, sprayfoam, door hinges on the swingarms and it will be as good as new. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Still not as bad as my first parts car back in early 2000, the only thing holding it together was the shift rod and wire harness. People though I was crazy to pay $500 for the 2.0 wreck. No loader, I had to use a come along, quite a job. For me it was totally worth it, below is a part list of what I got off it. Some of these parts are still on my 914.
-5 fuchs -SSI exchangers -4 bilstiens - 160 springs -sways F&R -gauge console -etc -almost all the parts from a 2nd 914. -2nd 2.0 engine -2nd tranny, etc. -new in box, Porsche ebrake cables, just put these on my teen -new clutch kit -seals and small parts. |
