Did anyone see the ad in Panorama(p. 90) for I Systems, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL ?
No picture but text is:

I'm not sure what it is...

But I'm guessing it's one or two universal apex joints and a new shift rod. Probably a straight rod.

Ron Zitza at Zotz Racing here in Winter Park, where I am getting a lot of my work done, utilizes a setup like that. It gets rid of even more of the slop in the shift linkage.

Places like Stromski Racing and Wevo sell these universal apex joints for $150 to $200 each, but you can source them out elsewhere for less and add a little machining and have the whole joint for around $50 or so!
