Well I'll be. I've had that same question for quite some time but I think the answer might be right there in your pic. That same plastic wire protector strip you have there was used stock where the wires pass through the frunk braces next to the headlights. I'll bet that strip is original and all that was used. 914Rubber sells that stuff. I've been hunting for a grommet for that hole but now I'm think I just need to stick a bit of that strip in there.
