Looking for a buyer for a 1973 914 2.0. It's Alaska Blue Metallic with the "appearance package" and has original 2.0 Fuchs and chrome bumpers. It’s pretty original and in survivor condition. I bought it about 4 years ago from an elderly gentleman whose girlfriend was the original owner. I have original service records from 1973-85. No reason to think it isn't a numbers matching car, but I don't have a COA. I had plans to gradually restore the car given the lack of any rust (hell hole is clean, longitudinals, floor pan, etc.). Unfortunately, I'm not mechanically inclined, so everything has been done as an expense. I have receipts for almost $11k over the last 3 years...major mechanical has been done (engine rebuild with sport cam shaft, pistons, brakes, master cylinder, etc.). The car is in running condition, but not without flaws. Paint is not original in several areas and very distressed and rubber bits are aged...interior is pretty clean. Dash has minimal cracking and seats are in pretty good shape...small hole in Drivers side. I have been back and forth on keeping or selling, as these have obviously appreciated over the years. It could probably be a #2 car which would push it’s value to $40k, but would require much more time/investment. Car is going up on Bringatrailer next week. Let me know if you would like to learn more about it. Looking for $16,500.

Still working with BAT on the reserve. Entertaining offers to sell outside the auction until it goes live.
