Congratulations. Did it go to a member here? Will it remain in the USA? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Yes and yes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It (finally) arrived just this morning. It needs some work, but that'll help keep me busy for a while....

Couldn’t stay away. Good for you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Nope, couldn't. All those old posts about needing multiple 914s, I thought were just jokes. Didn't realize those were such dire warnings. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

@BillC

That was a short time away lol. I feel like you just sold your yellow about a month ago.

Yeah, it wasn't too long ago.

But, my wife kept laughing at me staring forlornly at the empty spot in the garage, and finally said why not get another? So, I did.

congrats Bill! great to have another 914 on the east coast. looks like a great driver and project, enjoy!

I'm the guy that bought Bill's yellow 73 and I know how much he hated to part with it. Glad he bought another! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

you must be the only 914 in St Joseph Mo! and a bit of a drive to KC. but there might be a few down there. Had a friend from there there went to NW Missouri St. when we lived in SW iowa, great hunting. anyway welcome to the 914World!!

Funny you should say that. I've lived in St. Joe 30 years come June 15 and I have NEVER seen a 914 here. Grew up in the Bay Area and saw lots of them and drove a few. We've taken the 914 out a few times and gotten a lot of looks. Great cars. I've wanted one for years, followed them on 914World and elsewhere, and finally took the plunge and bought Bill's.
