Congratulations. Did it go to a member here? Will it remain in the USA? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Yes and yes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) It (finally) arrived just this morning. It needs some work, but that'll help keep me busy for a while.... Couldn’t stay away. Good for you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Nope, couldn't. All those old posts about needing multiple 914s, I thought were just jokes. Didn't realize those were such dire warnings. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) Yeah, it wasn't too long ago. But, my wife kept laughing at me staring forlornly at the empty spot in the garage, and finally said why not get another? So, I did. congrats Bill! great to have another 914 on the east coast. looks like a great driver and project, enjoy! I'm the guy that bought Bill's yellow 73 and I know how much he hated to part with it. Glad he bought another! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) |

I've lived in St. Joe 30 years come June 15 and I have NEVER seen a 914 here. Grew up in the Bay Area and saw lots of them and drove a few. We've taken the 914 out a few times and gotten a lot of looks. Great cars. I've wanted one for years, followed them on 914World and elsewhere, and finally took the plunge and bought Bill's. |
