Beautiful job. I have a question that I noticed on this car,- not knocking by any means ....on a 74 - 914 are the brake backing plates cad plated as these are or are they painted black? Also the front dust caps are they plated or anodized in some way black or are they cad plated?

Beautiful job. I have a question that I noticed on this car,- not knocking by any means ....on a 74 - 914 are the brake backing plates cad plated as these are or are they painted black? Also the front dust caps are they plated or anodized in some way black or are they cad plated? On a six the front brake shields ar yellow cad, the rears are black. IIRC on a four all are black Front bearing caps on 6 are grayish black oxide. |

If I was to nit pick it would be the fact that the struts top, and the surrounding area is not covered in black goop, like a real -6. On mine it is about 1/8 to 1/4 thick in places.
