I think the paint meter should be around 3.5-8. 14 is high. I think.

I think the paint meter should be around 3.5-8. 14 is high. I think. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) FWIW, a couple of years ago a SWB 911-S was being auctioned at Amelia Island. A guy there was checking the paint and it was either suffering from a full-on skin of bondo or the thickest paint job in history because the meter could not read it. (It was an Elcometer which an industry standard.) I referred to the car as a "Sculpture Class". I've seen some terrible work in my day. There is some ugly stuff running around with pretty paint. |
