Hey guys,

Here's a video about changing the trans gear oil (c'mon...you know you're overdue) and how to fix that annoying speedometer drive leak. Enjoy.

Thanks. I only wish the camera was rolling when I dropped a new bottle of gear oil into the pan holding all the old stuff....

Thanks man. Trying to do a new one each week. Suggestions welcome. A bunch of people want to see a valve adjust video. Will be doing that as part of my bumblebee engine build in a month or so. LED headlights are up next, followed by dash resto..

Ian, the videos and your production quality just keep getting better! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

I needed this one to motivate me to go replace that on my 4, thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Thanks! I own a production company and am a director/editor of broadcast content for a living. I tried hard to keep these videos more raw and less produced, but my perfectionism is creeping back in!

Ian thanks for doing these video’s and keep them coming there so helpful. Even if it’s something that I’ve already tackled it’s fun to watch only to say shit that’s why it took me so long! Haha (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

While we're on the subject, what is the best way to dispose of the old oil?

Lots of places that sell oil also accept used for recycling. I usually bring mine to autozone.

I've found that O'Reiilys stores (CA Bay Area) will take up to 2 gallons of used oil - free of charge. FYI,
