depends on your climate and engine of course.....
standard 1.7, Europe, the Netherlands...I use 20W50
Topic has been around many times.....You will get many opinions on it, and everybody has their favourite or product they do not like.
Hard to give the best answer to you .....

I use over the counter Valvoline VR1 20/50 with my 3.2 stock euro six

Still working through my supply of Brad Penn 20W-50, which is now marketed as PennGrade1.

Edit: This is for a carbureted 2056.

I use Valvoline VR1 in everything. It is great with the older engines that need the high zinc content. And unlike Brad Penn or Driven, I can find it at FLAPS anywhere.


And Andy.. my motor is not stock either... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

I trusted my mechanic to rebuild my 3.0 motor. I follow his recommendation for what oil to use.

I would go for 20W50. Brand is something you have your own preference for or just use the opinions of the other members here. I use a Dutch Brand called Kroon, so I cannot recommend any specific brand in NE USA.
