For Sale 914-6 Conversion Race Car
Vin # 4752901673
Ran in HSR and SVRA
The car has fiberglass front fenders and rear quarters. The front and rear trunks are carbon fiber. The doors and engine lid are steel. The car weighs approximately 1900 lbs.
The engine is a 2.4 liter built on a 5R case. It has enlarged ports, 911 2.2 S pistons, and GE-60 cams. Induction is via Weber 40s on PMO tall manifolds. Exhaust is via equal length headers with SuperTrapp mufflers. The engine has only a few break in hours on it.
The distributor is from 123 Ignitions with an RS advance curve. Ignition is by a MSD 6AL box.
The pedals are modified so they pivot from the top. There are twin braking master cylinders with an adjustable balance bar between them. The clutch is hydraulically operated.
The oil tank is mounted in the front trunk and holds 10 quarts. Dual Mallory fuel pumps supply fuel.
Suspension is by Koni adjustable shocks. The car has an adjustable front sway bar, but no rear bar.
Engine cooling is via a large front mounted oil cooler with a thermostat.
The roll cage is tied into the front and rear suspension pickup points.
The transmission has fresh synchros as well as a 904 mainshaft with A, H, M, R, V gearing. In addition, the trans has a ZF clutch type limited slip differential. There is a cooler for the transmission.
Front wheels are 3 piece 15X7. The rears are 16X9.
The car is located in Conway, AR. Asking $18,500.
