Lots of nice touches and components on this one with Rothsport involvement in the build, but too bad the steel flares are riveted on instead of butt-welded. No affiliation.

Nice car other than the fender job, would not take much to make it right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif)

I agree. That is a lot of car for a pretty average regular conversion price. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I'm new here ... Group: Members Posts: 0 Joined: 1-June 20 From: Los Angeles Member No.: 24,341 Region Association: Southern California |
I was in this car yesterday, it is an insane car...if not for my wife wanting something a little less developed I would have bought it. John, the owner, is a straight shooter and obviously Gary (who I don’t know) knew what he wanted. It is dialed.

Now the question is, has the car appreciated $14k in 3 years? Or are we paying for the seat upgrade and refinished fuch's?

Now the question is, has the car appreciated $14k in 3 years? Or are we paying for the seat upgrade and refinished fuch's? If other similar cars are selling and have sold for a similar asking price then yes, it has appreciated or it at least has shown to have the value that is being asked. If it sells for asking or close to it, then we are certain it has appreciated in value. Of course, in the last couple years, Porsche engines, trans, parts and labor have all increased so the justification of a higher asking price is warranted just from that metric. Conversely, if you are seeing similar cars in the mid to upper $30’s, it’s probably priced to high. |
