If the snout where the main seal rides is scored from a burned bearing, or, like here, all rusty/crusty.. There will be a sleeve installed, or a lathe turning job, or even worse, the thing will get tossed. So, If you could take a minute and hit the seal area with some 400 wet/dry or emery cloth, Then post a pic here, We would all know if this was a junk part or not. Pro Tip..
