Count me in on the Highway 2 & 210 LA route. I have some ugly temporary bumpers on but the car is running good.

I am in. Car a little funky right now but should be sorted out by then. Blown front wheel bearings all fixed. Please start as late as possible as I need as much sleep as possible....please don't ask why. This age thing has just got to stop!! Looking forward to it and appreciate the high energy organizers. Thank you very much. What time does Newcombs open??? 11:30am?
All the best,
gg

I've got some chance of making this but have a lot going on at work so it's really iffy, will let ya'll know

Last time I went up there Newcombs restaurant was closed but it didn't diminish the great ACH drive at all. (Just be sure to do your call of nature business before heading up the mountain...)

Not a bar, even if it’s closed, is about the drive and the friendship.
Eat at Panera bring water.

Yep....that is a nice drive down the backside.

Yep...not planning on going inside Newcombs.

Just heard that we may not be doing furloughs but we will find out tomorrow. That is supposed to be our first day.

Bump for those that wanna get out of the house.

Can my friend and I join even though we don’t have 914s? I’m trying to convince him to get one...

7:30 sounds great.....way better than some of the "meet at 5:30am at the donut shop in Riverside". Sorry to be so sleepy but I am honest about it!
All the best always,
gg

PS....maybe something in Wrightwood will be open?? Not that far away and beautiful roads to boot. Just an idea...

Don.t count on it. I.d bring something with and water.

I was just there. I am in escrow with my properties there! I am no longer a landlord in California!

Jensen.s is open but that is about it.

I.m going to take the old R66 route right before the 138/15 split as it arcs back to the 210 and avoid any traffic from Pasadena. Did it at the last WCR it was a really nice drive.

So now it’s official that Newcomb’s will be closed, I will make the drive tomorrow to see if the parking area has been blocked off.

As far a meet time, I reached out to Matty900 to provide this to the group. Remember he is the one traveling so courtesy dictates we work as close to his schedule as possible.

I still can't go Friday AM because of work but (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) if this drive moves to Sat AM.
Chucky will most probably be sidelined for upgrades, but I have options. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

But (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif), let's see what Matt says.
