Original picuture is true IMHO. Original 914 FI was sort of a maze of wires and vacuum hoses. Modern FI not nearly as ugly.
Can't beat the clean look of carbs but the simple fact is that FI has proven itself to be the winner both for emissions and performance. Persoanlly I prefere ITB FI -- best of both worlds. Looks like a nice clean set of carbs. Has the wonderful induction sound of carbs. Performs like modern FI. Mabye someday I'll spring for the DubShop kit. |
