Thank you everyone for the great advice. The top of the pistons is flat with a concaved grove so I do not think the valves can hit anything. I think I am going to flip them just to be safe.

Thank you everyone for the great advice. The top of the pistons is flat with a concaved grove so I do not think the valves can hit anything. I think I am going to flip them just to be safe. Hold the head right next to it and look at the angle of the valves in the head and which way they will move when mounted. You'll know exactly where the relieve needs to go ...
