Looking for any information on the L98 (or whatever code was used) 74 Pink information.
Ideally I'd like to try to locate one to do a color match. Please if anyone has any info has seen or knows where one may be at. I'd like to match the color. Thanks Mark |

The story I can tell about the Pink 914's is I was out at CampbellNelson VW at their 220th wrecking yard in the late 90's looking for parts and there was a smashed Pink 914 that had been T boned. The parts guys were cleaning out 914 stuff so I bought the tranny out of the Pink 914 as it had only 30k on it plus it was a deal. Parts guy said the Pink car was owned by the original owner a lady who took great care of her baby until she got T boned by a pickup truck. They also said several Pink 914's went to Hawaii as a special promo.
That's all I know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |
