the wire thing goes toward the front of the car....well it works that way.. i dunno if it matters which way it goes...

as far as i know, it only fits one way with the sending unit installed ... sender points towards the rear of the car, wire connector end points towards the front of the car ... and don't forget to use NEW crush washers under the 2 10mm bolts!
