I created a page for the rings. There are 4 options to select:

Early 914 Polished Finish
Early 914 Brushed Finished
Late 914 Polished Finish
Late 914 Brushed Finish

This page will be open until August 8 for the group buy and the price will change to $55.00 per set after August 8.

Please note: after it's closed, it will be about 6 weeks until the rings are made and can be shipped.

914 Dial Rings

Thanks
Engelbert

Hello All,

The group buy is now closed. The rings are in production.

I will post an update as soon they are ready for shipping.

I will also get a set for the center console for test fitting. After they are approved I will set up another group by for them.

Thanks again
Engelbert

Good news !

The ring came in much earlier as expected. I'm starting to send them out this week.

I got a set for the center console and test fitted them. They need a little bit adjusted so they install OK.

I will keep you posted on the center console rings.

Thanks
Engelbert

Here is a picture of the center console rings installed.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/live.staticflickr.com-12404-1598188361.1.jpg)

This is on a 1976 914. However, I understand that the center console gauges are the same for all 914 which came from the factory.

See this thread about it.
Center Console Gauges, Are they the same for early and late cars

The rings on these gauges are very small and have not enough meat on the gauge ring for the trim rings to click in, to hold by friction. These rings need to be fixed with some glue. A small portion of silicon glue will be included.

Thanks
Engelbert
