Very spur of the moment, we seem to have some cool weather in San Diego and surrounding areas tomorrow. Have been jonesin' to hit that road over in Borrego either as a descent or come the other way as a hill climb.

Meeting up in Ramona at the K-Mart Parking lot right as you enter the "town' at 7am (have to go early as it hits 90* in the desert by 9 am).

Plan is to either head over towards Borrego 1st and down the Montezuma downgrade, then across and over to the back road that leads us up and into Julian, then back to SD.

Or

The opposite, up from Ramona to Julian, thru Julian down the back grade over and into Borrego and up the Montezuma Grade...which potentially leaves cool weather and Palomar and/or Mesa Grande as an option.
