Over the years I've had 5 914s, 4 that could be driven. 3 were 2.0s and my first was a new '73 1.7. I've logged well over 100k miles in a 914 but never driven a 356. I'm curious to hear from those who've driven both as to how they compare.

i always wondered about this, having never driven a 356, but figured its age and wheelbase would be a totally different ride. i'm sure there are improvements you could make but it is what it is.
