Was working just fine before today.

When I installed mine after they hadn't been used for 35 years, I had one of the latches stick enough that the light stayed on after the belt was unbuckled. I squirted a bit of teflon lubricant in the mechanism and worked it a few times. No problems since. That's probably the easiest place to start.

Just put some black tape over the annoying light (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
