That car needs some love and a bit of work to make it nice based upon the pictures. "Painstakingly restored" is not how I would describe that car as it sits unless the restoration was 30 years ago and it has been rode hard and put away wet since then. Lots of room for improvement. If the seller is thinking this conversion 914-6 is in the $90K range.......I want some of what he is smoking (not really).
However, it does have a lot of great stuff on it and it looks like a 7 overall to me. That would be a great starting point in the high $20's or low $30K range if the body and mechanicals all check out. As always, do a thorough PPI and know what you are getting. I would be more comfortable with this car if they had the full restoration pictures and documentation for all of the build/work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
