Finally got the dog teath off of 1st and when I tore apart 2nd gear I found this! No wonder second was a funky shift! Anyone see this before? Any therories as to why this happens? @drevil - perhaps the good Doctor could chime in? Thank you, CTC911CTC Attached image(s) |

Would forcing a gear cause this? Not sure what the mechanics are. Trying to diagram the activity - might the forces from either side of this part cause a failure? If so it must have been a very large load on this part...........HHHhhhhmmmmm
