This was my Dad’s 914. It’s a bone stock 1.8 liter. This is what my 20 year old daughter and I drove from Central NY to Washington 2017. Started in Ithaca NY, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Sault Ste Marie, Minneapolis, Fargo, Glacier National, on to Spokane and Finally in Kennewick Wa. It was a hell of a road trip. LOL |

I have a stock 1.8 l-jet as well. that gasket is a HUGE part of the system. I think I bought one from Stoddards. several vendors have them.
good luck Randy |

Sorry to say that on the Going to the Sun drive, the roof was on. I was on a road trip with a 20 yo girl, had to use the rear trunk....for a trunk LOL. However, she did drive it back down the mountain. Taught her to drive that 901 5 speed on the fly......yes the clutch did survive LOL. |
