good morning everyone.

question... these thin metal brackets...
are they a part of the engine lid rubber bumper?
or perhaps something else.... related to the drain pan mount?

thanks for the advice

Yep they slide up on the mesh panel pronds at the center and pop rivet to the rain tray right here
