I want to go to a black trim look and the door handles and rear trunk lock are currently cheap chrome. What are the alternatives for making them black? Paint, powdercoat, wrap.
The gap of the base and the flapper is so tight. Show me what you have how you did it. May drill a hole or two in them.

I powder coated all trim and handles (Inner/Outer) with SATIN Powder. No photos but not that difficult. Luckily I have a PC Oven at home.

I'll post pics soon.

Scuff the hell out of the chrome, since paint won't stick to chrome. Prime and paint.
thats what I did with mine.
