Dave's wheel bearing thread reminded me of these pictures I found on another site.
The guy was doing 70mph in a Hyundai Santa Fe when this happened. He said he didn't hit anything.

He didn't really give any other details. His lawyer probably told his to keep his mouth shut until after they settle the suit. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

Is that a stock Hyundai wheel? Any mods to the front end?

Not good. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Paul, When I saw the first photo the back of the spokes reminded me of the back of my Revolution RFX spokes. Uh-oh! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) I know you used to use them, too.

Did you ever hear about the RFX wheel failure that a guy with a VW Rabbit/Golf had at Road Atlanta a couple of years ago. It was discussed on the PP board but then all went quiet, I guess while the legal issues were dealt with. I wonder what ever happened concerning that?
