Hi, Ive just started my 914 reno and new to 914's. It did not come with the battery. Can anyone advise what battery I should buy? Cheers

@Fejsa, sorry to join your thread! I’m also in the process of buying a battery. Anyone has an idea using Interstate AGM battery and what group number? thank you!

I thin Group 42 was the stock size but those aren't very common anymore. I can say that Group 47 fits fine and Group 34 also works but I had to trim the length a little and the height is pushing the limits. Group 47 is just 3mm longer than a 42 but fits the tray fine, and 17mm taller than a 42 but 10mm shorter than a 34. From my limited experience, I'd say Group 47 is the sweet spot between availability and fit.
