Is it possible to remove the nut/washer and the two brackets Under the three nuts on each side without the strut moving? ThanksAttached Image

I have found IF you leave care firmly on the ground you should be replace the front first and the rear second. This is assuming you have the replacement parts BEFORE you start. Weight of car should keep strut bearing in place.
