Can the clutch fork travel be adjusted with transaxle removed? I.e. before I install it.

Resurfaced flywheel, new Saachs clutch pack, already had 3 washers under fork ball stud. (Three washers not recommended, I know, but was done by PO, I've only had car 30 years, LOL)

Can I measure desired travel on the bench or does it have to be mated to engine?

Retracted the front surface of the TO is almost even with the front edge of the guide tube.

If someone establishes a standard method of measurment it could become
a useful tool.
