The Pano has been sitting on the coffee table for a few days and after this comment, I'm going to need to grab it. Great car for a story!

Does the 14 page article start on page 9? That would be a happy coincidence.
Great looking car. Congratulations! |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Congratulations! That is quite an honor. I just received my Panorama yesterday and it is sitting in my desk. I just flipped through it and saw your article and then when I came to the World, saw your post. A truly stunning car and I am glad to see you drive it and share it with others so they can learn about or even remember the 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Re-read it and noticed the author transposed the first numbers in the initial reference to the serial number - doesn't take away from the great story or anything but just an observation. ("437" vs. "473")

Thanks for giving me the heads-up Tom! I actually do still receive Pano at my shop but I almost never open it these days. In fact it came in Saturday's mail but I hadn't noticed.

Re-read it and noticed the author transposed the first numbers in the initial reference to the serial number - doesn't take away from the great story or anything but just an observation. ("437" vs. "473") There are a few little errors in the story. The writer is a Porsche guy but not a 914 guy. So some things may not have translated well during our conversations. OR may have been things I missed when I had the chance to proof read the initial draft. Then it goes to the editors, who may change things. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Its accurate for the most part, but you have to allow for some artistic license. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Thanks for all the positive comments. I'll try not to let it go to my head. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) |

I have no Pano subscription, but just following your build thread since 2015, I did enjoy reading/looking at it. |

Just got mine in the mail today, great car with lots of subtle details only people like us would notice. Looks stock but has Foley flairs with huge wheels and a hot /4 engine, is that an old Borla exhaust?
Stop making me second guess my 7 year conversion project. I could have done similar and been driving it all these years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) |
