Hi,
Maybe a silly question to some but 1971 car, the steel wheels fitted are the rectangular slotted ones and therefore are incorrect for the year, are 69 ish beetle wheels the same as the earlier 914s? They have the oval holes. Many thanks, Nathan |

Yes, the wheels that came on the car are later. It originally had early wheels, I moved to 2.0 Fuchs and then sold the Fuchs. The late wheels were just to roll the car. Keep them for work and paint and then switch to good ones.

Hi mark, Yes this was the plan but two aren't holding air for long now so figured if I could get the correct wheels i could restore them and fit a new set of tyres so I can roll it around easily myself once it goes into the workshop it can sit on skates but its currently outside |
