Guys and Gals
It has come a time for me to evaluate and grow the business. I have decided to close out my quiet technology mufflers. They are fantastic mufflers but very expensive to sit on parts/components in preparation to sell a completed muffler based off of my build to order business model. I am going to make a run of them based off of sales over the next 2 weeks and then they will become NLA. Please note I will still have plenty of options as I have new 914-6 heat exchangers,1.7 ,2.0 914-6 mufflers all available along with all my other products.. So here is how this will shake out 914-6 quiet muffler $550 (stock tail pipe) 914 2.0 quiet muffler $600(stock tail pipe) Payment can be made by check or paypal with you paying fees. Shipping is typically $40-$45 GT style bracket, hardware, and gaskets will be $60 with purchase of mufflers. Please note that the picture is for showing some of my products. This offer is for stock outlet only Thanks for all of your support.. This has been a challenging year for everyone and I have never forgotten all the support I have received from all of the people in the 914 community |

Hi All,
Received my muffler. As other reported, it is a work of art. Unfortunately, mine was manhandled by the gorillas at UPS. There is a 2.5 inch dent in upper left, near the weld line. Ben has offered to let me return it as well as some suggestions to remove the dent. On the one hand I know I am being a bit obsessive as it *probably* will not effect sound or performance and may not even be visible once on the car. Anyway, wondering what others think in terms of repair options, returning, living with it whatever. Ben suggested blocking the inlets and forcing done compressed air via the tailpipe. I did try this to no avail. Have not come up with a great way to seal / fill the tailpipe so not sure if the actual psi. 2.5 us not a standard plumbing size. Given gauge if metal, not sure if air without heat is enough to pop it. Ben also offered to send me a paintless dent repair kit he has. Again, not sure if that will work as they are generally made for thinner gauge body panels and / or the hot glue might not stic to the stainless. I did try with just a heated glue stick but it popped right off. Another option could be to use electric stud welder to tack a stud and pull the dent. However, do not want to turn one problem into a bigger problem. Yes, we could do a UPS claim but, from my experience, UPS always blames the packaging. There was no visible damage to box. Likely it was dropped in an edge like lip of truck. As noted, I could just live with it. Open to other ideas. Thanks. Mike |
