The fit was perfect and polished up nicely. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) Nice. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to get ambitious and do that! Looks great! I know I can have a muffler polished locally for around $200. If anyone is interested.. He does my stainless bumpers I do for Auto Atlanta. |

wow beautiful sound! the neighbor in that video seems not being bothered with the sound. Just a couple of updates. All 914-6 mufflers have shipped. 2.0 mufflers will start shipping this week. One note. This video though very nice is not of a quiet muffler. DucRS ordered a louder version. It sounds great no doubt but a few pm'd me with questions regarding sound levels.. The video represents a louder version.. Thanks |

Update 90% of these mufflers have shipped those that provided email addresses should have received ups tracking numbers. Those that didn't will not.
Thank you for all the support. This has helped me make tough decisions as to how to move forward. I have a couple vendors coming online after the 1st of the year. Very excited about that. Thanks again |

Sounds great. Mine should arrive soon. From a loudness perspective, how would you compare it to your original muffler? Louder, quieter, about the same? |

For those who installed on their 2.0. Did you use / purchase the GT bracket?
I guess I did not read closely enough. When I placed my order I did not realize the bracket was an additional purchase. Just checking how others installed. Thx |

Yeah sorry if it was confusing to anyone.. these mufflers with hardware and gt style bracket are almost a wash for me.. it just helped get inventory off the books.. it also bombarded me with orders and has helped me to streamline things moving forward.. I have found some cheaper prices on hardware and gaskets that helps me keep doing this but I am not making gt3 money not even 914 money (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Mine arrived about two hours ago. Ben, REALLY nice work! Will probably polish it before I install it just because it deserves the extra attention.
Speaking of installing, does anyone have a picture of the GT mount on the transmission? I know I'll probably figure it out, but I can't wait to get to it. |

Once you remove the stock muffler hanger, put the gt hanger on the two trans studs. It really only fits one way. Then bolt the muffler to the heat exchangers and strap the muffler to the gt hanger.

Once you start the install its fairly obvious on how it has to go. I'll take a picture of mine when I'm out of scouts tonight. Zach |
