Thinking about getting a set of wheel dollies.
I had some HF cheapos awhile back, they worked but had cast iron wheels and left scratches on the garage floor. Have seen some with what look like a rubber wheel but concerned they might flat spot. Interested in something simple and low tech, but well built and roll around easy. Not interested in the fancy ones with onboard hydraulics. |

EzCarLift - Best Roll around stand I have. No tire flat spots, car is 24" in the air so you can store tubs under it, or work on the car over the long winters. Drop the stand feet it does not roll. Wheels are at least 6" casters all shafts and bearings have grease zeros, tw o wheels lock in a direction or go full 360, to wheels have brakes.
Some one says you get what you pay for. If you have the budget I will say that was my best garage / shop purchase ever. Made in the USA Great Product - as much as I recommend it, I should get a cut, sadly I do not. Video showing the operations and everything. Moving a car is show 3:40 in. It is EZ, I move my 914-6 by myself, don't need two people to do it. Yes it is not cheap, but yes it is a great investment all around. If only it could lift all my bigger stuff. Chevy Truck, X5M, and 7 series. I prefer this over my QuickJacks. If you look at the two the quality in the EZ is exceptionally better than that in the QuickJack. Heck the extension I made for my QuickJack are better quality than the quickJack. And I think QuickJack saw my design and copied it for their own extensions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Now if they would copy my wheel design for moving the about under the cars, they might be onto something. When I move the Harbor Freight and Big Red Wheel rollers and the QuickJacks will be sold off, or scraped. The EZwill be with me for the rest of my car working life. |
