Are you handy? It's not that hard to DIY, get a DVD from Dr Evil.
The other is to ship it to Dr Evil, there's two ways to do this, ship him the whole unit or just the stack. He's located in Ohio and he can discuss shipment options with you.

Don Jackson enterprises ONLY work on Porsche and are eager to work on them unlike some of the others that work on them plus many other cars. If he can't do it maybe he can tell you who can.

Stuttgart Southwest or Patrick Motorsports. I’ve used Jack at Stuttgart for years and he hasn’t steered me wrong.

Go direct to the transaxle Co. where most of the independent shops send your gearboxes to; in Lake Havasu, California Motorsports. They even have a flat rate price set up for the 901; additional costs for cnc machined updrade items avail as well.

Welll as I recall, I took it apart about a decade ago with a hammer, a pry bar ,and a 2x4. But at the time I thought it was trashed anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) !!!

Another vote for California Motorsports in Lake Havasu City. Took the transaxle from my '73 last summer and it came back looking like a piece of jewelry. It will now outlast me.
I'm presenting pullling the engine/transaxle in my '71 to have them go over it after 120K miles and 50 years. I had a good Porsche mechanic friend put a 6/29 R&P in it many years ago when I was autocrossing it lot but I'm having the original 7/31 put back in as autocrossing days are in the 914 and my rear view mirror.
