I have a rear shift 914 1.7 that I recently purchased as a almost done project that I finally got running and on the road. Issues are that is very rough going into 2nd gear and sloppy for all the others. I've been looking but haven't found a source that sells a complete bushing/linkage kit. I thought I'd start here. Anyone know a source that sells something like this? Thanks

Replace all 3 of the plastic nylon bushings in the linkage and you will be amazed at the difference. I was. It’s still not great, but much better than stirring around and searching for gears.

Thanks, mostly assembled and ready to go when I got it. Previous owner did a great job on paint and interior. Motor was in but not running right, all good now. Still working on the headlight assemblies and getting them installed with all their bits and pieces. I went through 914Rubber and Auto-Atlanta for almost all the little pieces and brackets I didn't have in the boxes of parts that came with the car. Only a handful missing to complete. Still missing Shake-Proof Washer (90011400202), Stop Screw (91475019310), Hexagon Nut M 6 (91462411800), and Shake-Proof Washer (91462411900).
