What is the purpose of this plastic ring on the horn other than centering the 13mm bolt on the horn bracket? I only have one and have gone nuts trying to find them.

To dampen vibration to the body. Some horn brackets are triple layered. Use a rubber washer too.

Thanks Bruce. My OCD will drive me nuts if I don't locate one or make another ring. Do you have any in your arsenal of parts?

Thanks

How about this one ? I guessed at the thickness.
Does it go between the horn and the bracket, or the bracket and body? PET only shows s lock washer on the bolt to the body. I have never seen one of those plastic washers on a horn but PET is not always right.

Yes the washer fits inside the hole and does not extend past the thickness of the bracket

@Nacho

I pulled one from a horn on my car.
I have a bucket of horns somewhere that may have more. There is only one oer horn.

@bdstone914

Sweet! Can you mail me a few? Or let me know when you'll be around and I can swing by?

Thanks
