I’m in the process of cleaning and fixIng leaks on my 1.8 liter . Ive attached a picture of a single wire. This wire sits behind the fan shroud and at some time broke. There was another wire someone ran under the car to replace this but never did find what it connected to. I’d like to replace this But can’t figure what it plugs into on the engine.Attached Image Attached Image

It is the wire connected to the temp contact on the bottom of the engine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Replace it and your oil temperature gauge will work when you plug it in to connection on engine shelf.
