My 74 2.0 has a Holley 5200 (7760) carburetor. I honestly thought it was a Weber 32/36 but finally went to get a rebuild kit and went to verify and lo and behold it's a fake! Anyone have any experience with these? Is it worth rebuilding or just scrap and replace (and yes I know single carbs on a 914 suck but that's what came I got). Thanks!

Not really a fake, they were built under licence from Weber and often called a Holley /Weber,they are known to suffer butterfly spindle wear which is expensive to fix and frankly not worth it as people mentioned they were less robust than the Weber.
Post up in WTB for a Weber, most likely you will find one ,good luck.

Thanks for the reply! I think it's time to save for duals. I'll nurse this one for a little while longer!
