Note the attribution in the lower right corner....Argetsinger....he built Watkins Glen as the inaugural F1 track for the U.S.
Personal note..My first trip to WG with my 2.7 /6 for a DE event by PCA NE group...short guy name Peter over at the side of the driver's meeting was taking signups for coaching sessions so I booked a 1pm slot with him. I didn't have a clue until the White Run Group class session at 10 when he was the instructor and told tales of being at Brands Hatch with Derek Bell and Jackie Stewart and all. Geez, kinda humbling for a newbie to WG and DE events and all.
I did my best on track for half of the session and then he took the car and proceeded to make it dance...blowing off GT3's to my amazement! Yep, Peter Argetsinger....what a memory to have! To top it off at the end he pats the dash and says "Nice car"....what class...
