While rebuilding my 75 2.0l motor it was discovered that the case center main bearing had been bore aligned to .040 oversize. What is weird is that the main trust bearings are stock size. The problem is finding a center main bearing in a .040 oversize. They obviously made them at one time but when looking at all the sources available today the largest I can find is .020 oversize. Is anyone aware of a source for this oversize bearing?

Call European Motor Works in Hawthorne, ca and ask for Jorge. I think something is wrong that the bearings are all not the same size. Jorge will tell you, they are very reputable.
