Hi All
out and about in my -6 today and the defroster motor has decided to run wide open.
no documentation with me so I'm trying to find out where to kill the power at....is there a fuse or relay I can pull till I get home?

Fuse # 8 25 amp wipers, ventilator, horn, cigarette lighter

The three speeds are controlled by sliding contacts behind the dash HVAC panel.
The plastic holder is often melted and deformed by partial contact between speed contacts.
The next suspect is a resistor inside the heat /defrost box.
Neither job is a pleasure.
