Would love to see more pics, but kinda cool.

Surprised this car has never come up here, or anywhere else I can think of. Like the color and stance a lot, and that's one way to increase serviceability. Wonder if the "engineering" and build quality (and lack of rust) are as stated. If so, $14k ask seems awfully reasonable given what good 914 projects go for, and I suspect GT bumpers/valances, five-lug Fuchs, a bit of brightwork around the targa bar, rear scoop/spoiler delete, and a period interior would transform this build.

That’s so stinking cool. Wish there was photos of the mechanics behind that bonnet.

The only thing I don’t like is that air scoop.

Even with massive steel beams, this thing has to be all kinds of floppy.

And tilting the rear as in the photo does not look like great access.

Open the doors, there is nothing left in the way.
It must have a real frame for that setup.

It's actually hinged the right way—just needs a better hinge setup that lifts and swings so the clamshell is 90° or near it.

If I was game to build a tube-frame 914, I'd way rather do something like this than the usual setups. Pretty neat—but it would only make sense to me in fiberglass or carbon fiber.

14K asking,
Very difficult to replicate at that low cost, a ~350 sbc powered GeeTee..Oh!

' Built in 1976 by mechanical engineer from Electric Boat in Groton, Ct.
Custom tube chassis '
Should sell in minutes, as it is rust free.
