Ok guys, I'm looking for the "barrel nut" thing that adjusts the throttle cable and holds it into place.
unfortuntely I don't have an original to compare . is this it?

I'm a bit confused because these are identified as Heater Cable barrel nuts, so I'm thinking / hoping it gets used in both places?

Yes they are different but I see no reason why the heater barrel nut will not work in the throttle linksge. I think it is slightly longer.
