I rebuilt my pedal assembly about 2 months ago. New brass bushings, sanded and cleaned all the friction surfaces, etc.

But when I installed it, the clutch pedal still squeaked. I fooled around with it and finally thought to spray some lube on the big spring. That seemed to fix it fine.

So 2 months later, it is squeaking again (time for more lube). My question, does anyone sell these springs? Do they wear out?

thanks (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif)

mine squeaks too, and i also recently did the complete pedal assembly restoration, with the new brass bushings. my squeak sounds a bit farther down though, maybe the shift cable tube. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)
