Had a great time on Sunday. Beat up on cars 2 classes up from us. This was a big HP track and that's not what I have, I'm slowly working on a 2270, but it will be a while before that is ready for sure. New springs seem to work out really well. I still need to check to see where the "tattle tale" ended up to see if I'm still bottoming out, but I think we are really close now.

Curious about your suspension/alignment setup. It looks like your car rotates really aggressively.

The car is sprung very aggressively with no rubber anywhere. It probably runs 2X the spring rate than what most people consider adequate for autocross. Moderate sized front bar (don't need a huge one with big torsion bars) and no rear bar (although I plan to test with one).

Alignment is basically as much camber and caster as I can get, some toe out in front, and a lot of toe in on the rear to help stabilize the rear.

I have been meaning to try a toe out alignment, think i may give that a go this year. Im running similar with solid bushing everywhere 21mm front bar and 180lb rears, max camber/caster but with 1/8" toe in front and rear. its a very neutral/stable setup that allows steering with the throttle mid corner but my front end doesn't respond nearly as aggressively as yours appears to. Was thinking of investing in some scales this year and will probably try a different alignment setup in the process.

Really hoping to get my car whipping around the cones like yours does. Looks great. Took the last couple years off autox but in my absence there has been a new Gt3 showing up to local events walking all over everyone. It has me feeling the urge to represent the 914 out there again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

May need to invest in some r-comps too. the Gt3 is running them and not sure ill be able to pull it off with the BFG Rivals, that car is a monster.
